Within our Education Portfolio, we have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Caretaker to join our team on a Full Time Basis: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm (hours can differ for right candidate), located at Aldinga.
Flexibility is required to allow for planned events and on call after hours and weekends.
Reporting to the Key Account Manager for SA Schools, you as the Senior Caretaker will form an integral part of the school community and is the key point of contact on the day-to-day delivery and management of the contracted services.
The role will suit an energetic and extremely motivated professional to drive our service and excellence culture
Experienced candidates will be considered if they have the following skills:
- Proven experience in Managing and Delivering the services as per contractual requirements
- Demonstrate an understanding of OHS Legislation and how it applies to the position
- Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills
- Superior time management/organisational skills
- Proven experience developing and facilitating on-site training
- Client liaison, relationship building and negotiation skills
- Demonstrated communication skills verbal and non-verbal
- Problem identification and resolution skills, developing fit-for-purpose solutions
- Data interpretation and report writing experience
- Experience and exposure to HSE Coordination for a site

Minimum Criteria:
- Relevant trade, related qualification or relevant experience
- A National Police Check is essential for all ISS roles
- A SA issued DHS Working with Children Check or ability to obtain one is essential
- Must be fit and able to meet the demands of the job
- Strong knowledge of Maintenance procedures and systems
- Knowledge of facilities contract management in an Education environment (Desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A great attitude and willingness to contribute to our TEAM success
- Ability to work independently and use your initiative
