Location: Sydney, NSW

Be part of something bigger. Be part of ISS.

About the Role

Our team is growing, and we currently have a role on offer for a Supplier Excellence Manager, employed on a Full Time, Permanent basis.

The Supplier Excellence Manager is part of a dynamic Supply Chain and Procurement team that works seamlessly with all parts of the business, and is willing to challenge the status quo, offer solutions and build better foundations for business growth.

Reporting to the National GM Business Performance, this is a pivotal leadership role with a genuine dual mandate — protecting the business through supplier assurance, and elevating the function through procurement excellence. You will lead our procurement risk, supplier assurance and governance framework across the Pacific — owning supplier onboarding, due diligence and compliance — while driving continuous improvement across our systems, processes, policies and supplier performance. It’s a rare opportunity to shape both the integrity and the maturity of a function that manages more than $300M of spend across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

Supplier Assurance & Governance

  • Lead the enterprise-wide procurement risk, supplier assurance and governance framework across the Pacific, embedding controls aligned to global policy, regulatory requirements and client contractual obligations
  • Oversee end-to-end supplier onboarding — registration, profile validation, risk assessment, due diligence and compliance verification
  • Lead and develop Supplier Vetting Analyst, setting governance standards, monitoring control effectiveness and driving compliance uplift across the supplier lifecycle
  • Lead procurement-related audits (ISS group, client and ISO), from evidence collation through to action plans, remediation and timely closure

Procurement Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement of the procurement function across systems, process and policy
  • Develop, implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures and governance frameworks that keep sourcing consistent, controlled and compliant
  • Strengthen preferred supplier governance, reduce non-compliant spend and improve procurement control effectiveness
  • Own and enhance the Supplier Performance Review Program — frameworks, metrics, reporting and supplier improvement initiatives
  • Champion ESG governance, including Modern Slavery risk mitigation and ethical sourcing controls
  • Administer key procurement systems (Coupa, Scanmarket and SharePoint), driving data integrity, reporting, dashboards and automation

Why Join Us?

  • Values-based, positive company culture with a caring and energetic team
  • Flexible hybrid working — up to 2 days per week from home
  • Purposeful, rewarding work with a competitive salary package
  • Genuine influence to shape supplier assurance and procurement excellence across the Pacific
  • Access to staff discounts with a wide range of companies
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • Career pathways within a leading global organisation

Minimum Criteria

  • 5+ years’ experience across Procurement Excellence, Supplier Assurance, Quality Management or Risk Management
  • A strong governance, risk and compliance mindset, with high attention to detail
  • Experience with Coupa Risk Assess, or a similar supplier risk and supplier management platform
  • Experience with Scanmarket, or a similar e-sourcing, tender and procurement platform
  • Experience administering SharePoint sites, content, permissions and document governance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills across all levels
  • A strategic mindset, with strong planning and prioritisation skills and the ability to juggle competing deadlines
  • Advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable Criteria

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Risk Management or a related discipline
  • CIPS / MCIPS or equivalent procurement qualification
  • Certification in Risk Management, Compliance, Audit or Quality Management
