About the Role
The Key Account Manager role is primarily focused on contract delivery across Key Accounts, to ensure reliable and consistent delivery to plans. The role is responsible to ensure risk identification / controls, incidents and tenant/client/customer issues are managed as per the agreed processes.
To provide vision, leadership and drive the contract portfolio performance to maximise business growth, profitability and overall responsibility to provide a healthy & safe workplace for all facility users, employees and sub-contractors.
Build a culture of high performance amongst the service delivery team and foster an attitude of continuous improvement that enhances the standing of both ISS and the Customer(s) in the industry.
The integrity of the sites is to be managed through the identification of project improvements and compliance to Client and ISS processes/procedures. The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing all our client sites along with the Key Facilities Deliver Teams, whilst being expected to uphold the values of ISS.
Key Areas of Focus
- Client Liaison
- Develop and maintain a close working relationship with the designated client representatives via regular formal meetings
- Ensure effective communications with client representatives and tenants
- Act as the building owner’s representative for all facilities within the designated area.
- Act as the contact/ISS representative for all site related issues
- Provide excellence in customer service to internal and external customers in order to deliver ISS’ Service with a Human Touch.
- Complete assigned tasks with minimal disruption to the client
- Safety, Health and Environment Management
- Apply, enforce and monitor compliance with both client and ISS HSEQ policies, procedures and systems associated with the contract
- Monitor and recommend improvements to enhance the effectiveness of the safety systems, behaviors and practices
- Ensure appropriate resources are applied to achieve safety objectives
- Display high level knowledge of safety processes and standards relating to work activities
- Building Essential Safety Measures and QSE Compliance
- Incident Management
- Financial Management
- Planning and Scheduling

What We’re Looking For
- Preferably a tertiary education in facility management, business administration or project management or similar operational qualifications.
- Managed a work force.
- A sound understanding of the operations and maintenance environment in a cleaning function.
- Experience in the delivery of presentations to various work groups.
- Issue resolution and problem solving.
- Ability to travel intrastate on a regular basis, with interstate travel required from time to time
- Experience in change management
- Effective communication
- Ability to develop others
