🍽️ We're Hiring: Hospital Food Services Assistants

📍 Location: Angliss Hospital, Upper Ferntree Gully

🕒 Employment Type: Casual with permanent Part Time opportunities

 

With people and relationships being the centre of all that we do, be a part of something big. Our ISS Healthcare Team are seeking Food Service Assistants to join the team to provide and facilitate the delivery of superior food to patients.

The role:

  • Maintain a high standard of food services in accordance with Food Safety Legislation and Food Services Procedures
  • Preparation and presentation of patient meals such as salads, sandwiches and drinks
  • Cleaning and sanitising of patient meal trays, cutlery, crockery and trolleys
  • Preparation of workstations including assembly of items and stocking of consumables
  • Flexibility to work early and late (AM/PM) shifts including across weekends and public holidays

Minimum Criteria:

  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current Food Safety Certificate is required
  • Self-motivated with a strong focus on safety, the environment and compliance
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team to deliver a high level of customer service

Compliance Requirements to be met:

  • Current Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain, no older than 12 months is essential
  • Current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or willingness to obtain, is essential
  • Influenza vaccination within the last 12 months, or willingness to obtain, is essential
