Our team is growing and we currently have a role on offer for a Contract Optimisation Manager, employed on a Full Time basis, working from our Melbourne CBD office.

This position will report to the Head of Contract Optimisation and be working across the business with Segment Directors, Key Account Managers and site supervisors, as well as our Estimators and support functions such as finance, P&C, payroll and commercial.

The key areas of focus for the role are as follows:

  • Oversee End-to-End Labour Management Processes: Develop, implement, and continuously improve Pacific labour management process to ensure optimal workforce deployment and efficiency across all segments.
  • Enhance Process Efficiencies: Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to design and implement process efficiencies around the Time and Attendance (T&A) system, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and labour cost management.
  • Compile and Analyse Benchmarking Data: Gather and analyse labour data to compile benchmarking reports, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and providing actionable insights to the commercial team.
  • Promote Data-Driven Decision Making: Foster a culture where labour optimisation decisions are consistently guided by data insights, ensuring that strategies and actions are based on accurate, real-time information to enhance operational efficiency and workforce effectiveness.

 

A snapshot of what you will do:

 

  • Contract Optimisation & Improvement Recommendations: Lead contract optimisation efforts by developing and refining tools, processes, and procedures, continuously monitoring practices, and recommending improvements to SMEs and business leaders.
  • Benchmarking & Market Analysis: Assist in developing benchmarking tools and contract performance reports, evaluating benchmarks to identify underperforming contracts and areas for improvement. Additionally, contribute to tender processes by supporting the Commercial team with market analysis and competition assessments to drive growth.
  • Data Analysis & Performance Monitoring: Analyse data streams from existing operations using tools like Excel, Power BI, and Tableau, and monitor the implementation and effectiveness of proposed actions, suggesting improvements as needed.
  • Leadership & Culture: Promote a safety-first, inclusive, and diverse culture through leading by example and actively supporting these values within the team.

  • Excel Proficiency: Extensive experience in utilizing Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting.
  • Self-Motivated & methodical: highly organised, systematic, and collaborative in approach, ensuring consistent and effective results
  • Data Visualisation and Analytics: Skilled in using business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI for data visualisation and insights.
  • Time and Attendance System Expertise: In-depth knowledge of T&A systems, including daily usage and leveraging data to drive efficiencies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and clients.
