We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support across a major client contract. 🔧 What You’ll Do
As our Accounts Payable Officer, you’ll be responsible for completing payments and controlling expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Your key duties will include:
- Ensuring compliance with Client and ISS financial guidelines
 - Efficiently processing creditor invoices and matching them with purchase orders
 - Coding and authorising invoices in line with internal procedures
 - Identifying and resolving duplicate payments, refunds, and cheque cancellations
 - Setting up and maintaining accurate creditor records
 - Upholding internal controls and ensuring data integrity
 - Filing and archiving financial records according to company policy
 - Reconciling creditor accounts and statements
 - Reporting non-compliance issues to management
 
🎯 What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting
 - Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar accounts payable role
 - Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
 - Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry
 - Ability to work respectfully with people from diverse cultural, linguistic, and religious backgrounds
 - Results-focused mindset with strong prioritisation and multitasking abilities
 - Willingness to seek guidance and collaborate when needed
 - Proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships

Experience in a financial reporting and analysis role within the Facilities Management industry is desirable.
