The Opportunity:
Our team is growing, and we’re looking for resilient, reliable, and team-oriented Utility All-Rounders to join ISS Facility Services on remote WA mine sites.
We have Full Time and Casual FIFO opportunities departing from Perth Airport on a 14:7 roster. You’ll work 10–12 hour shifts in remote environments where red dust gets everywhere, the days can feel long, and your step count will definitely look impressive by the end of shift.

About the Role:
Your day-to-day duties may include:
Cleaning
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across accommodation rooms, public areas, storage facilities, site locations, and designated work areas.
- Perform routine and scheduled cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, waste removal, and bathroom cleaning.
- Carry out specialised cleaning activities such as deep cleaning, floor maintenance, strip and seal works, equipment cleaning, and industrial cleaning as required.
- Replenish room amenities, consumables, and supplies to required standards.
- Safely operate, maintain, and report issues with cleaning equipment.
- Assist with waste management, equipment stocktakes, and the upkeep of cleaning trolleys and departmental equipment.
- Ensure the security of resident rooms, keys, and village assets while maintaining a safe, hygienic, and well-presented environment.
Kitchen
- Assist with food preparation in accordance with recipes, quality standards, and direction from the Executive Chef or supervisors.
- Ensure all food is prepared, handled, stored, and served in compliance with food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
- Support kitchen operations by maintaining clean, sanitised, and service-ready equipment, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen areas, including effective waste management and disposal.
- Accurately monitor and control kitchen stock, equipment, and breakages, participating in regular stocktakes as required.
- Contribute to efficient and cost-effective operations through the responsible use of resources, equipment, water, and energy.
- Demonstrate flexibility by supporting different kitchen sections and assisting where required to ensure smooth service delivery.
Grounds
- Perform general grounds maintenance, including mowing, cleaning, and upkeep activities in line with maintenance schedules.
- Maintain landscaped areas through weeding, spraying, and general garden care.
- Install, inspect, and repair irrigation (reticulation) systems as required.
- Safely operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment such as mowers, whipper snippers, and hedge trimmers.
- Assist with drainage works and related site maintenance tasks.
- Provide labour support for construction and site improvement projects.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-presented outdoor environment at all times.
- Deliver friendly, professional food and beverage service in line with company standards and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests positively and ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety across all service and bar areas.
- Ensure all food and drink orders are prepared, served, and delivered accurately and promptly.
- Keep service areas fully stocked, organised, and ready for operation, including completing setup tasks before service.
- Accurately manage cash handling, stock control, stocktakes, and breakage reporting.
- Take ownership of your assigned work area, including general bar duties and maintaining a clean and efficient environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Valid C-Class Driver’s Licence
- Experience in cleaning, housekeeping, catering, tavern, or a similar role.
- Previous FIFO or mine site experience would be highly advantageous.
- A clear National Police Clearance less than 12 months old.
- The ability to work FIFO from Perth Airport on a 14:7 roster.
- Full Australian working rights.
- A willingness to assist across departments when required.
- Fitness and resilience to pass a mining pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening, ongoing through employment.
- Reliability, self-motivation, and the ability to work well both independently and within a team.
- Basic tech confidence to complete online inductions and use onsite systems for timesheets and training.
